Marketing and emails
Only email when required
Let's be clear on a general rule: without our client's explicit permission, we will not contact the applicant for marketing purposes.
We do send some system emails however. These include:
Invitation to complete the reference (only from dashboard).
Automated Feefo emails to gather reviews of our system (when explicitly approved).
Contact selling tenant's insurance (when explicitly approved).
Requesting more information if some parts of the reference were not completed sufficiently (this only happens during the hybrid process).
System emails, not marketing
Whenever we send a system email, for example the invitation to complete a reference, we keep those emails to a specific function. For example:

- Keep content concise and actions clear.
- Links to learn more about Movem.
Things we don't do in our system emails: 🤨
- Cross-sell without client's consent.
- Advertise any other products or services.
- Ask the applicant to sign up to a mailing list.
